Gozie Ugwu's first-half goal was enough to secure Greenock Morton a first Scottish Championship win of the season against Hamilton Academical.

Ugwu struck hard and low to put Morton in front five minutes before the break.

The visitors finished the match with 10 men after Cameron Blues picked up a second booking in the 87th minute.

But Hamilton could not take advantage and have one point from their opening two matches as Morton move on to four points.
