Clyde secured Scottish League 1 safety and consigned Dumbarton to the play-offs by beating East Fife.

The hosts had to win the rearranged fixture to climb out of second bottom place and led at half-time through Ally Love's close-range strike.

Scott Agnew levelled from the penalty spot after Ross Dunlop had been fouled by Scott Rumsby.

But David Goodwillie headed Clyde's winner with eight minutes remaining.

Dumbarton will visit Stranraer in Saturday's League 1 play-off semi-final first leg while Elgin City host Edinburgh City in the other tie. The semi-final return legs take place on Tuesday.

Though East Fife end their campaign with a greater points tally than fifth-placed Falkirk, they finish sixth because of the league's split for the final four games.
