Dundee 3-2 Dunfermline Athletic: 成人快手 side third in Championship after fighting back

Dundee fought back from two goals down to beat Dunfermline and move up to third in the Scottish Championship.

Kevin O'Hara and Craig Wighton both scored in the opening six minutes as Dunfermline raced into an early lead.

Jason Cummings headed one back before half-time after Osman Sow was twice denied.

And in a two-minute spell in the second half, Danny Mullen and Lee Ashcroft both scored to complete a a stunning fight back for the home side.

It moves Dundee level on points with second-place Raith Rovers, and 13 points behind leaders Hearts with a game in hand.

Dunfermline drop down to fourth, although have played a game less than the two sides above them who they trial by three points.

The visitors looked in total control early on as they raced into a 2-0 lead.

Wighton was instrumental in Dunfermline's fast start to the match, setting up the opening goal before quickly doubling the lead.

His pass put O'Hara through to score, and the on-loan Hearts forward then converted Fraser Murray's pass with a wonderful sublime lob three minutes later for his fourth goal since joining the Pars last month.

Dundee recovered and Cummings' header halved their deficit before the break.

Mullen equalised from a Paul McGowan corner, and two minutes later Ashcroft headed the hosts in front.

The turnaround was complete but Dundee went looking for more goals and Dominic Thomas, Ashcroft and Mullen all went close to scoring a fourth goal, before Owain Fon Williams denied Cummings late on.

Dundee striker Jason Cummings: "I hadn't touched the ball and we were 2-0 down. It shows the character of the boys, it was a big game for us tonight.

"We've got players here capable of getting promotion. We're confident. You look at the players we've got, we've got a lot who have played at a higher level. We've just got to believe."

Dundee manager James McPake: "Take away the first five minutes and for 85 minutes I was delighted with the players. The character they showed to get themselves back into the game and then go on to win it.

"It was really important tonight we got the victory and we found a way."
