Wycombe have the worst away record in the Championship, with just two wins from their 15 games on the road this season

Draw specialists Millwall extended their unbeaten run to eight Championship matches after being forced to settle for a point against bottom club Wycombe Wanderers.

In a scrappy first half at The Den, Lions keeper Bartosz Bialkowski parried away a shot from Daryl Horgan.

David Stockdale tipped over an effort from Millwall wing-back Scott Malone after the break, while both clubs had penalty appeals turned down by referee Jarred Gillett.

The draw does little for Wycombe's survival bid, with the Chairboys now 11 points from safety after Birmingham City won at Sheffield Wednesday.

Gareth Ainsworth's Wanderers, in their first-ever campaign in the second tier, have won just one of their past eight league games.

Stockdale was back in goal for the visitors after returning from his loan spell at League Two Stevenage because Chairboys number one Ryan Allsop suffered an injury in training.

Millwall could not find a way to breach a side with the worst defensive record in the division, as Wycombe kept just their fifth clean sheet of the season.

The draw was Millwall's 15th from their 31 league outings in 2020-21, with the result leaving the south-east London club seven points off the play-off places in 11th place.

Millwall manager Gary Rowett told 成人快手 Radio London:

"On our recent run of form, I always felt this game could be a little bit of a banana skin.

"We had won three on the spin and to win four in a row is very difficult to do in the Championship

"We knew it would be difficult and we defended really well. They didn't have an awful lot of opportunities to hurt our goal.

"We had a lot of control of the game and moved the ball quite well until the final third. It was difficult to find the quality which was required."

Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth told 成人快手 Three Counties Radio:

"Away from home, any point is a good point - especially in the Championship - although this game won't live long in the memory.

"They paid us a massive compliment by way they set up, with five at the back. It was very difficult to break down.

"We are pleased with David Stockdale coming in and a clean sheet. The back four defended really well.

"If you get points away from home and win your home games, that is a recipe for staying up."
