FC Halifax Town v Hartlepool United: Frozen pitch postpones game
FC Halifax Town's National League fixture against Hartlepool United was called off just over an hour before kick-off on Tuesday after their playing surface failed a pitch inspection.
Both teams had arrived at The Shay when a second inspection was called, but a patch of field in front of the South Stand remained frozen.
It is the second time the fixture has been postponed for a frozen pitch.
The original match on 2 January was also curtailed by the problem.
Both the and earlier in the day that a proposed pitch inspection at 13:00 GMT had been cancelled as the surface had been "deemed as playable".
A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.
Halifax are sixth in the National League table, with Hartlepool second, eight points behind leaders Torquay United.
