Raith Rovers stormed back to beat Dundee and climb to second place in the Scottish Championship.

Osman Sow volleyed home a Paul McMullan cross to give the visitors a fifth-minute lead at Stark's Park.

Kyle Benedictus headed the equaliser from close range before Reghan Tumilty's stunning 30-yard strike had Raith ahead shortly after the break.

Rangers loanee Kai Kennedy's curled finish on the hour made sure of Raith's first home league win in four.

Striker Jason Cummings came off the bench for his Dundee debut and headed a Danny Mullen cross wide in the closing stages.

Dundee stay fourth after the end of their eight-game unbeaten run.

Raith Rovers manager John McGlynn: "It was a big win - to bounce back after getting beaten 4-0 by Hearts on Tuesday night and defeat a very good team like Dundee, we're delighted.

"We're happy to be second but won't get carried away. Our aim at the beginning of the season was to make sure we're in this league next season and anything above that will be a bonus."

Dundee manager James McPake: "The players are hurting because they wanted to keep the unbeaten run going. Today is a sore one but the best team one.

"The bug bear for me is getting done from two set-plays. The inexperience in the team showed a little but that's not an excuse."
