Third-placed Hearts beat Inverness CT to maintain their 100% start to the Scottish Championship.

Michael Smith chipped narrowly wide as Hearts pushed for a first-half opener.

成人快手 captain Steven Naismith did find the net for his first goal of the season just after the break, diverting Stephen Kingsley's cross into the net.

And Liam Boyce flicked home Hearts' second from Olly Lee's cut-back before Aaron Doran headed in Wallace Duffy's delivery for Inverness.

Robbie Neilson's side, who have a game in hand, are a point behind Raith Rovers and Dunfermline.

Hearts head coach Robbie Neilson: "It's probably not one of our better ones but I always had a concern about this game going into it after such a high of last week and the semi-final and getting the result against Hibs.

"We knew we had to get ourselves back up for it. Some good finishes. We've managed to get the result, which is great."

Inverness CT manager John Robertson: "We just didn't have that wee bit of quality to hurt Hearts. In fairness, apart from a couple of half-chances, we nullified them.

"We did dig in and the young lads kept going. Doran gets his goal, we start to ask Hearts questions and they're hanging on at the end. A lot of frustration, a lot of positives but we need to be more clinical in the last third. It's disappointing to come away with nothing."
