Hull City: Marcus Maddison and James Scott join Tigers
Hull City have signed winger Marcus Maddison from Peterborough United on loan and teenage forward James Scott from Motherwell for 拢1.5m.
Maddison, 26, will be out of contract at London Road when his loan deal expires at the end of the season.
He has scored 62 goals in 249 appearances for Posh since joining from Gateshead in 2014.
Scott, 19, has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with Hull having the option to extend it by a further year.
"Coming to Hull City and English football is a new challenge for me and one that I am very much looking forward to," said Scott.
Motherwell have said the transfer represents the third-highest guaranteed fee ever received by the club, behind the sales of Phil O'Donnell and James McFadden.
Maddison's move to Championship side Hull reunites him with Grant McCann, who previously managed him at Peterborough.
"I'm delighted to be here," he said. "I only got the call at half past 10 last night, so the deal has been done very quickly."
The Tigers have also brought in Yeovil midfielder Alex John, 18, on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move. He will go into the club's under-23s squad.
