Macclesfield Town 3-3 Crewe Alexandra

Macclesfield fought back three times to earn a point from a 3-3 draw in the Cheshire derby against Crewe.

The Railwaymen steamed into an early lead, Jordan Bowery sneaking in behind the defence to lob Kieran O'Hara three minutes in.

Macclesfield struck back when Scott Wilson got in behind George Ray to equalise but Crewe dominated, with Bowery hitting the post and O'Hara pulling off some fine saves.

But O'Hara was then sold short by Nathan Cameron's back-pass, bringing down Chris Porter for a penalty that the striker scored to restore Crewe's lead.

An enthralling second half saw the Silkmen draw level 15 minutes from time. Michael Rose's corner was spilled by Ben Garratt, and Cameron bundled in at point-blank range.

In a breathless contest both teams pressed for a winner and, after George Ray looked to have snatched victory for Crewe in the fifth minute of stoppage time, Reece Cole popped up with a third equaliser.
