Franck Tabanou: Swansea defender rejoins St Etienne on loan

Swansea City defender Franck Tabanou is rejoining former club St Etienne on loan until the end of the season.
The Swans signed left-back Tabanou, 26, for around 拢3m in June 2015.
But the former France Under-21 international has not played for Swansea in the Premier League, making only three cup appearances this term.
"Unfortunately, it didn't happen the way I wanted. They did not give me my chance. I do not understand," Tabanou told French newspaper L'Equipe.
"And I think, if I had stayed, my situation wouldn't have changed. The club is in a terrible situation and despite that, they never let me play.

"Tactically, they are not at the top. They have their players, they will fight until the last minute. This is not the way I play.
"I might have been able to make more effort but I also expect an effort from them."
Tabanou had been a first-team regular for St Etienne last season, making 37 appearances to help the French side qualify for the Europa League.
But at Swansea, the former Toulouse player has found his opportunities limited by the form of Wales left-back Neil Taylor.
Tabanou is now set to rejoin St Etienne, who say on their the loan deal will not have an option to make the transfer permanent.
