All Hereford United can do is win - Richard O'Kelly

Relegation-haunted Hereford United manager Richard O'Kelly says they must concentrate on winning their game at Edgar Street on Saturday, rather than worrying about rivals Barnet.

It is 15 years since a home defeat by Brighton last cost the club their place in the Football League.

And, if the Bulls do not beat Torquay at home, they will go down again.

O'Kelly told 成人快手 Hereford & Worcester: "We just need to win. There's nothing complicated about it."

If Barnet win at Burton then Hereford will go down and Bulls boss O'Kelly, who was given 12 games to try and save them from the drop when he replaced Jamie Pitman in early March, has found it a tall order.

After picking up an encouraging four points from his first two games in charge, the Bulls then lost their next four.

But they have at least proved hard to beat since, drawing three out of four before last Saturday's astonishing 3-0 win at promotion-chasing Crawley.

That result instilled fresh belief that Hereford could yet hold onto the place in the league that they have held since Graham Turner led them back up via the Conference play-offs in 2006.

But now they have to do the same against Crawley's rivals for the third automatic promotion place, while hoping that Barnet slip up at Burton.

"What Barnet do is important," O'Kelly added. "Come a quarter to five we just have to hope we've done enough.

"But, while we're out on the pitch, there is nothing we can to do to affect what happens elsewhere.

"As much as you possibly can, you have to focus on the game in hand. But you know it can change in a matter of minutes. Look at Wycombe last week. One minute they were safe then the next thing they'd lost and were going down.

"All we can do is concentrate on what we do over 90 minutes."
