VfB Stuttgart snap up Guinea's Ibrahima Traore
Guinea's Ibrahima Traore has signed a three-year contract with Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart.
The international midfielder, 23, has signed on a free contract from second division side Augsburg.
Stuttgart sports director Fredi Bobic said Traore, who also holds French citizenship, is a "young and motivated player who wants to prove himself".
Traore has scored eight goals in 45 games for Augsburg, who have virtually secured promotion to the Bundesliga.
VfB Stuttgart, who were German champions in 2007, have had a disappointing season, lying 11th in the 18-team division.
Traore becomes the third African on Stuttgarts' books, joining compatriot Mamadou Bah and Ivorian full-back Arthur Boka.
