Yorkshire all-rounder Dom Bess has extended his contract until the end of the 2026 season.
The 27-year-old is in his fourth season at Headingley after joining from home county Somerset.
He has made 125 appearances for the White Rose county across all formats and taken 172 wickets and scored 2,046 runs.
鈥淚鈥檓 very grateful that I鈥檝e got another two years at the club,鈥
Yorkshire are second in Division Two of the County Championship going into Thursday's final round of matches.
Victory over Northamptonshire would see them secure promotion back to the top tier and Bess, who won the most recent of his 14 Test caps for England in 2021, believes the county is going in the right direction.
鈥淵ou look at the lads coming through, aligned with the senior boys such as Adam Lyth and Jonny Tattersall, and there鈥檚 a real nice blend there," he added.
"Hopefully this coming week we can do the business, and we can carry that on into Division One."
