The Cricket World Cup 2023 group stage has come to an end.
England went into the tournament as the defending champions after beating New Zealand in the 2019 final, but they are flying home early this time.

- 5 October: England v New Zealand, Ahmedabad - lost by nine wickets
- 10 October: England v Bangladesh, Dharamsala - won by 137 runs
- 15 October: England v Afghanistan, Delhi - lost by 69 runs
- 21 October: England v South Africa, Mumbai - lost by 229 runs
- 26 October: England v Sri Lanka, Bengaluru - lost by eight wickets
- 29 October: India v England, Lucknow - lost by 100 runs
- 4 November: England v Australia, Ahmedabad - lost by 33 runs
- 8 November: England v Netherlands, Pune - won by 160 runs
- 11November: England v Pakistan, Kolkata - won by 93 runs
England finished seventh in the 10-team table, but secured a place at the 2025 Champions Trophy by virtue of finishing in the top eight.
