County Championship: Day two rain-offs at Derby, Northampton, Bristol and Nottingham
Persistent rain caused day two to be abandoned without a ball being bowled in four of Friday's eight County Championship games - at Derby, Northampton, Bristol and Nottingham.
Play was called off in the Derbyshire-Durham match just after 13:00 BST, then the Northants-Lancashire game was also abandoned for the day at 14:30 BST.
The Gloucestershire-Somerset game at Nevil Road followed at 15:00 BST.
The Nottinghamshire-Worcestershire game became the final abandonment at 16:00.
Assuming the bright weather forecast for Nottingham proves correct, the hosts will resume on Saturday morning on 51-3 at Trent Bridge, having lost a wicket in each of the short passages of play in the 15.5 overs possible on day one.
Just 17 overs were possible on day one at Derby, where Derbyshire made 48-0 against Durham.
They managed one ball fewer on day one at Wantage Road, where Lancs reached 59-0.
There were 20.2 overs at Nevil Road, Bristol, where Somerset got to 45-1.
Saturday's 成人快手 weather forecasts for Nottingham, Derby and Northampton look a lot more promising.
But then each also have rain forecast for Sunday's fourth and final day, while there is no rain forecast in Bristol during the day on Saturday, but there is on Sunday.
