Lee Merrien will run London Marathon
Guernsey's Lee Merrien has confirmed he will compete in the London Marathon in April to try to qualify for the Olympics this summer.
Merrien was the first Briton to cross the line at the event last year.
He is still looking for the qualifying 'A' standard after finishing outside the top 20 at the World Championships in South Korea in September.
It means he needs to run this year's London Marathon in two hours and 12 minutes to make the Great Britain team.
Last year Merrien completed the London course in a personal best time of two hours 14 minutes and 27 seconds.
He is currently training in Kenya and told 成人快手 Guernsey he was convinced he can improve on that time to qualify.
Only one British man, Scott Overall, has so far made the 'A' standard for the Olympics.
Paula Radcliffe and Mara Yamauchi are confirmed for the women's marathon.
