World FootballAvailable for over a year
The father of the Palestinian footballer, Mahmoud Sarsak, tells us that his son is in a critical condition. It follows his imprisonment and subsequent hunger strike. After nearly three months without food, Sarsak has lost his sight and hearing and is on the verge of dying. His father tells us how he believes his son鈥檚 imprisonment is an effort by Israel to destroy Palestinian football. We hear from the new President of CONCACAF, Jeffrey Webb, who tells us that he wants to start a new era of openness and give everyone in the confederation a voice. And Avram Grant takes us along the terrible and emotional journey of his father and grandfather as they escaped the Nazi occupation of Poland.
