It's a condition that's hard to spot - and even harder to treat, but loneliness affects thousands across the UK. Earlier this year researchers said that loneliness was at epidemic levels among young people. Now a telephone helpline which supports older people says it has been inundated with calls in its first year, with loneliness the biggest problem. What's your experience?
