The Baby Borrowers on 成人快手 THREE follows five teenage couples as they try out adult life, including 'parenting' babies and toddlers. Speaking to 成人快手 Somerset Sound's Jess Rudkin about the experience, Carl Elliot and Kayleigh Strawford said: "We had to look after children, plus go to work, pay rent and do the shopping - it was a complete adult life and a real learning curve." The programme has caused controversy. Dr Michele Elliot from Kidscape - a child-protection charity - has branded The Baby Borrowers as "sick" and says the babies' real parents should be ashamed of themselves. The producer of the programme, Richard McCerrow, says the documentary series is a unique and valuable insight, crucial in a country which has a big problem with teenage pregnancies.
