Late 2005 How did you get together? Adam, Chris, Dan and Mike were all friends from school, and had all participated in previous band projects that never really went anywhere.
They then formed a band in early 2005 called Her Perfect Plan. They later acquired Paul and re-named the band In The Eyes of Midas. How would you describe your music? Greatly influenced by metal. You'll find melodic guitar riffs, upbeat drum rhythms and tempos, and easy-to-listen-to bass lines in our music, as well as hard-hitting screaming, and soft melodic singing vocals. How did the band gets its name? It took about two or three weeks for us to come up with the name.
We didn't want the whole three-worded band-name thing, but at the same time we wanted something original and something people would remember. We came up with a few names like Lionheart, and Spartican, and then Paul suggested In The Eyes of Midas, and it just clicked.
