This film revolves around three characters with the same name but coming from contrasting backgrounds.
Laxmi Narayan (Tusshar Kapoor) is a young aspiring shooter from the underworld whose only aim is to fulfill his mother's dreams of becoming the most dangerous gangster of them all.

Then, there is another Laxmi Narayan (Suneil Shetty) who is car salesman from Mumbai whose only aim in life is to keep his boss happy whether he is right or wrong in his decision making.
Meanwhile Laxmi Narayan the third (Paresh Rawal) is a lingerie businessman who sells his garments on the busy streets of Chandni Chowk in Delhi.
One day, all three reach a place called Pondy on a different mission. So what happens when three people of the same name land in the same place at the same time?
What follows is a series of comic situations causing utter chaos and confusion.

Tusshar Kapoor who has already played the character of a gangster in Shootout At Lokhandwala was told to grow a real moustache for the film to add reality to his role.
Esha Deol plays an aspiring fashion designer who dreams of going to Paris but she falls in love with a gangster (Tusshar).
Our UK-born Bollywood actor, Upen Patel plays a car salesman and has been paired opposite Tanisha.
The musical score of the film has been composed by Raghav Sachar (of Kabul Express fame).
The shooting of the film took place on various locations including Pudduchery, Delhi and Goa.
