It features newly commisioned major storytelling works and many of the best performers from Britain and abroad. With a blend of storytelling and music, Festival at the Edge is the country's largest storytelling event and brings a weekend of family entertainment to the Shropshire countryside 17- 19 July. The theme of this year's festival is Original Sin. Story teller, Jan Blake One of this year's new commissions is performed by Jan Blake with musicians Raymond and Kouane Sereba. Set in pre-colonial Africa, it tells the story of ' The Old Woman, the Buffalo and the Lion of Manding." The other new commission is 'Of Gods and Men' in which Mike O'Connor speculates about what would happen if naturalist, Charles Darwin met William Penny Brookes, the father of the modern Olympic Games. The story is presented in music and prose. Also on the bill this year are singer song writer, Harvey Andrews, poet, Les Barker and Adrian Edmondson and the Bad Shepherd with their musical mix of punk and folk. The 成人快手 is not responsible for the content of external websites Pat French will be holding a pentatonic flute making workshop and participants will end up with a playable instrument. Crowds at the festival Dave Moylan, the magician will also be there, along with Professor Panic, incorporating workshops, games, puppet shows and storytelling. AdmissionEntertainment starts at 7pm on Friday 17 July and continues until Sunday afternoon. A weekend ticket for an adult costs 拢70. Weekend tickets for juniors are 拢35.
