成人快手 Radio Shropshire took to the road on Friday 16 March! Kim and Alice toured the county finding out what you were doing to raise money for Comic Relief. Here are just a few events.

The day kicked off in style at Hadley Learning Community in Telford where April Davies, Jessica Barnett, Haley Rigby and Kirsty Turner have been busy for weeks designing and making their own silly Red Nose Day outfits. The girls spent hours painting, pinning, sewing and finding sponsors. They're also dropping in to 成人快手 Radio Shropshire's Friday Night Gerbil 7-9pm on Friday 16 March.

Here's a sweet idea for you... John and Christine Murray, owners of the Treacle Mine sweet shop in Wem created a fountain of chocolate. Customers greedily seized the opportunity to dip a strawberry or pink marshmallow, in return for a donation to Comic Relief. At lunchtime Shropshire County Council tantalised the taste buds with a red menu in the Column restaurant on the ground floor of the Shirehall in Shrewsbury. This scrumptious menu included tandoori chicken, tomato soup and stuffed red peppers - 听in return for a small donation to Comic Relief. Over to Frankwell in Shrewsbury where Shropshire County Council's road safety team was selling homemade cakes!

Next it was the turn of Shrewsbury College of Art and Technology who arranged a whole bunch of exciting events. The students took part in their own version of the TV dating show Blind Date! Alice and Kim discovered who ended up with whom. Then the girls took the radio car to the Mayfair Community Centre in Church Stretton to join the youth group for their sponsored sleep over. Around 20 young people were sponsored to spend the whole night away from home - all in aid of Comic Relief. 听 As part of fundraising, Scrappies children's scrapstore made a giant red nose in Llandrinio on 11 March. Nick James flew over from Welshpool and co-pilot Arthur Bell took the photo - see the picture at the top of this webpage. So far they've raised over 拢500 for Comic Relief. Other events Local to Ludlow provided a feast in the town's market square. They roasted a whole pig and sold pork rolls over lunchtime with all the proceeds being donated to Comic Relief.听 Barclays Bank in Bridgnorth organised a Wild West day. They invited customers to join in and guess the weight of the Gold Nugget and for every pound raised, Barclays matched it with 拢1. The Claims Management Centre based in Frankwell, Shrewsbury were spurred on to raise money for Comic Relief by a "Phantom red nose painter" who painted a giant red nose on a piece of wood outside their offices. In the spirit of such goodwill they donated 拢100 for every injury claim generated through their office during the month of March. Sarah Shires, from Cound, also got stuck in. She set out to see how many different places around Shropshire she could go to and sing Bring me Sunshine, starting with the top of the Wrekin. Revelation, the women-only gym in Hortonwood, got active on Red Nose Day. The ladies are took part in sponsored circuit training from 7.30am to 7.30pm! All proceeds going to Comic Relief.
