Fighting Talk is a hilarious look at the volatile world of sport where guests compete for points with their sporting punditry. Informed comments are rewarded but witless outbursts are penalised.

Rick Edwards chairs the show and is judge and jury. His four guests answer each round in turn, preferably with wit and knowledge, giving their views and opinions on a series of different sporting topics. The top two scoring guests go into a final round where they have to "Defend the Indefensible".

Each pundit is called to vigorously support a sporting statement for twenty seconds that is either distasteful, plainly wrong, self-derisory or entirely contrary to the pundit's known opinions.
