I have accessibility requirements – what can I expect?

We want to make your visit to one of our shows or events as comfortable and inclusive as possible.

At all venues we welcome assistance dogs and at most venues we offer wheelchair access, adapted toilets, induction loops and sign language interpretation.

There are occasions where venues are less well equipped for visitors with accessibility requirements. Where this is the case we will do our best to be as transparent as possible on our booking page so you will know in advance if this is going to present you with challenges.

Letting us know about any adjustments we can make

When you apply for tickets for any of our shows or events you will be asked to let us know about any adjustments we can make to help with accessibility.

If we can make your visit more comfortable by arranging wheelchair spaces, induction loops, a BSL interpreter or by making any other adjustment that will allow you to enjoy the show please let us know when you complete your ticket application.

If your ticket application is successful, this information will be made available to the stewards on the day of the recording. If you requested a wheelchair ticket when you applied, you will have an allocated wheelchair space in the studio. We encourage you to make yourself known on arrival so we can be sure someone is on hand to assist. Please note that in fairness to all ticket holders there is no priority or guaranteed admission given to ticket holders who have requested adjustments or those who have been allocated a wheelchair space in the studio. As with all of our tickets, admission is on a first come first served basis.

If you’re attending one of our recordings with someone who will have difficulty standing in the queue while we validate tickets, we can often help by finding somewhere for them to sit and wait while you go through the ticket validation process, or make other arrangements if more appropriate. Again, it will be helpful if you can let us know in advance so our team is aware. Please note that even if you are not present for ticket validation, you will still require photo ID in order to gain entry to the studio / recording if you are aged 18 or above.

Food & drink and mobile phones

If you have a condition which means you need to bring food or drink into the recording, or you need to keep your phone with you for monitoring blood sugar levels or similar, please let us know when you apply so we can be sure venue staff are aware.

Updating us once you've received tickets

If you require adjustments that you didn't tell us about when you applied for tickets, it's really helpful if you can let us know ahead of the recording.

Because of health and safety in the studio we can't always promise to be able to accommodate additional wheelchair users once tickets have been allocated, but we will always do our best to facilitate you in other ways (transfer from a wheelchair to a seat, for example, if we can't safely have another wheelchair in the studio).

If you need to speak to us about any adjustments we can make please call ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Shows and Tours on 0370 901 1227*.

BSL interpreters

If you require a BSL interpreter for any of our recordings, we do need to know in advance so we can arrange this. Please let us know when you apply for tickets, or get in touch with us ahead of the recording to give us time to make the necessary arrangements.
