Once, ages ago, a picture was circulated on ib of a green guy standing - quite disrobed I thought - with a trident in the waters off Baltasound. Is he still there, Ruth, and what on earth is he doing? Waiting for the mussels to stick to him?

I'd have thought the disrobed gent with the trident would have been a fetching shade of blue rather than green, given the temperature in Shetland waters!!

mjc - He wid be our school janitor, who is away on an HGV training course this week, as part of his fire fighting duties. In that photo he was being filmed playing the part of Poseidon for the school play. It was November, if I mind right, and he went clean under the water so we could got a shot of him 'appearing' from the sea. It's amazing he wasn't hypothermic.
