Is it a sit-ootery? Or a very posh drystane hide for the bins? Or a sturdy home-built barbie?
Flying Cat from curiosity cott

Nice archery pic, my son will like them. I hope no one was walking past! Nice to hear the the sparrow survived, I didn't know you could put them back, I thought they were rejected if you'd touched them or something. Was very impressed by himself's amputation skills on the oyster catcher. Me and my 'himself' were speculating about what he used, he thought perhaps a pair of secataurs would have done it. We had a pair of Oyster catchers on our local nature reserve, not bad considering it's right next to the M6.

It`s a sit-ootery FC, for we always try tae find ways tae keep the wind off oor pieces when we`re ootside at the barbie....;-) It has a couple o` big tree trunks in it for seats, that were washed up on the beach one year. (we`d tae use a tractor tae get them hame mind you though)

I think you have to teach me how to shoot with arrow and bow. I havn't shot since I was a little kid and we were playing cowboys and indians.

Wasn't it Silky? She had long hair which grew and grew...

I could use a scalp, but I must admit to a preference for dark haired scalps on my belt. # I notice the other hunter has a hat on: does not want to excite envy of his mane, now, does he?! It would be a challenge to lift off the hat with an arrow without damaging the scalp, I should think. I shall have to ask my Apache friends for their opinion.

Eek! Scalped!? And noo I hae visions o` folks coming up and tugging on me hair tae see if it grows......:-) Alix, he used a very sharp chisel, for quickness, I`d tae haud the oystercatcher still ye see and it was a peedie bit distressed so we wanted tae be quick. It survived fine though and we hae seen it oot and aboot a few times noo. P.S mjc, onybody that wants tae shoot me man has tae gaun through me first, and I`m a better shot than him.....*looks tae the horizon for Apache ponies*

How long did it take yopu to grow your hair that long , Mr B was after a few tips, his excuse is grass doesnt grow on a busy street :)
Barebraes from Shapinsay
I thought Silky was a hen...who could forget Pamela Stevenson in Not The Nine O'clock News singing "I like cluckin and I like to cluck".
Flying Cat from ancient telly listing
" grass does not grow on a busy street" - : is it true he intends to pluck courage and ask for a discount at the local barber's (threatening to go to Kirkwall unless he gets satisfaction)?
mjc from NM,USA
nae worries Dag, I will surely teach ye the art o` the bow, though himself reckons the safest place tae be when I`m shooting is in front o` me, really. Mind you, he`s only jealous, I am a right superior shot tae him. :-D
