Well in true Orkney tradition its been raining most of the weekend.. why is this you ask ....
This is why!!
Yes in a fit of rage Mr B called for the JCB and off came the roof. Together with the top of the gable end, chimney pot and various objects. So for the unforseable future yours truly and Mr B will be building it up again, although in a hopefully better way than before.
Hooch now has his bed under the stars and can't quite understand what all the commotion is about.
We appologise for the rain but until the roof is back on again you can expect imclemant weather

And here was me thinking the rain (not confined to Orkney) was because the window cleaner had been, when all the time it was your fault. Cue storm-force winds, too! (I do hope not!). Good luck!

The Hulk eh? More like the BULK!!! Have I missed something here ( that is not uncommon) why did you tear the roof off your hoose? Was it done by accident? Do I need to go back and read past blogs? It wouldn't matter anyway, because as soon as I've read them I forget them ( the blogs) so why??

You are simply jealous, TWS. He is the hulk, in - deed!! JCB, eh? At first, just looking at the pictures, I thought the Hulk of Notre Dame did it all by himself. How about providing Hooch's corner with a tarp cover? He is a dog after all, and thus deserves rather better than some other quadrupeds than I could name... (but I would rather TWS do the honors).

Rest assured Oor Wullie that Hooch is under the stars not the stairs ( we have no stairs yet) And mjc he has a sheltered place and a comfy bed to sleep on. Tws . how could you call Mr B a Bulk (ha ha ) he is just cuddly

FC. you read it right!!old dear has a tiny bit of space for herself and we have the rest!!even if she goes to try and sleep in one of the spare rooms we break in then "hup" on the bed etc etc! we're making the most of it as when her and the man with--start living together we thinks he'll put a stop to that! sniff sniff!

I ended up tiling the living/dining area (60 square metres) beacuse at that time hubby was going through chemo for his lung cancer and radiotherapy for the brain tumour and the poor guy only weighed 35 kilosso i just got down and did it only thing i can't(won't)do is use the machine to cut the tiles!thanks for your kind comments to me throughout ibxx
