  • understand more about the importance of reusing goods and products instead of throwing them away.
  • raise their awareness of how the earth's resources could be conserved by reusing materials wherever possible.
  • demonstrate problem-solving skills during participation in an interactive activity
Completion of the mission.

Pupils select the best from several options. Successful completion results in an award (eco certificate.)
3) School Mission: Recycle the Rubbish People and Place

Activity tied to one of the 3 R's: Recycling.
Pupils will:
  • learn more about the amount of litter in a typical schoolyard that could be recycled.
  • explore the kinds of materials that can be recycled by completing an interactive activity.

Pupils select the pieces of litter that can be recycled.

Successful completion results in an award (eco certificate.)
4) Beach Mission: Beach Safety Science

  • become more aware of the importance of personal safety when visiting beaches to tidy them.
Completion of the activity.

Choosing the correct attire and equipment for a trip to the beach enables the pupil to continue.
4) Beach Mission: Tidy the Beach Science

Pupils will:
  • understand more clearly how living things and the environment can be protected.
  • become aware of the various types of litter and debris commonly found on beaches.
Learning about how litter and debris can be safely removed from beaches is facilitated by involvement with an interactive activity.
Completion of the activity.

Successful completion results in an award certificate (eco certificate.)
Eco Certificates The certificates are awarded after the successful completion of a particular mission. The certificates include summaries of the main learning points from each particular section. Successful completion of each of the four missions grants access to each of the four certificates. Collecting all four certificates grants access to the final certificate (only available after completing all missions.)
