A dust allergy (or dust mite allergy) is an allergic reaction to tiny bugs that live in the dust at work or in your home.
You are more likely to have a dust allergy if you:
- Have a family history of dust or other allergies
- Are exposed to lots of dust and dust mites
What you can do to try and prevent allergic reactions:
• Ensure there is frequent vacuuming of carpets
• Work areas are dusted regularly with a microfiber cloth
• The workplace should be properly ventilated
