mothers now have a legal right to breastfeed in public places
New听legislation in Scotland will make it a criminal office to deliberately obstruct breast or bottle feeding in a public place where children are allowed.听
Elaine Smith, MSP for Coatbridge and Chryston, and听Kay Seller, researcher with the听Scottish Poverty Information Unit, join Woman's Hour to discuss how the bill came about, and how we can hope to change perceptions about feeding in public that still prevail.
