As a new play, Beyond Belief: Scenes from the Shipman Inquiry, opens in Manchester, the writer of this documentary drama, Dennis Wolf, and Ann Alexander, the solicitor听who represented the families of Harold Shipman's victims and fought to bring the inquiry into the public domain, discuss the reasons why his crimes remained undetected for so long.
