why was so little known of the听music of this accomplished English composer?
Composer and violinist, Rebecca Clarke was a contemporary of Vaughan Williams and Holst but听it is only in the last 20 years since her death that her work is being rediscovered.
To mark the 25th anniversary of her death this week, her work is being performed along with those of other women composers at St James' Piccadilly on Saturday.
Fiona Clampin听meets her niece Becky Evans and听her biographer Liane Curtis听to find听more about Rebecca's life and why so little was know about her work.
