The American听writer Alice Hoffman, author of听Practical Magic andThe Probable Future, talks about her latest work of fiction, Blackbird House.
It's the story of a house in coastal Massachusetts, surrounded by sweet peas but also drowned in sorrow stemming from the death of one of its first inhabitants, a ten-year-old boy and is based on the house in which she now lives.
Alice听talks to听Jenni听about the mingling of the real and the supernatural, about grief, redemption, and joy.
