Jenni talks to Emily and chamber music pianist, Susan Tomes, to discuss their relationship with their instruments.

On Tuesday 8 June Emily Pailthorpe makes her Wigmore Hall debut recital (entitled War and Innocence) which launches her debut CD on the Oboe Classics label: Though Lovers be Lost.听 The proceeds of her concert are going to Save The Children.

Beyond the Notes: Journeys with Chamber Music by Susan Tomes is听published by Boydell and Brewer.

The Florestan Trio concert is on 8 June as听part of Spitalfield Festival and听will be broadcast live on Radio 3 at 7.30pm. It includes the world preimere of Piano Trio 2 by Judith Weir, which has been written especially for the Trio.
