Do babies and small children need development checks?
A Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH)听report has recommended dropping screening tests for infants at 8 months, 2 years and 3 陆 years.听 Instead there will be a core screening programme with extra support for children in deprived areas. 听But will this new service lead to children with problems, going undetected?
Jenni discusses concerns听raised by the report with听author Professor David Hall and Carolyn Taylor, Chair of the Community Practitioners and Heath Visitors Association.
