Dangerous Tastes - Coriander Friday 24 October 2003
So far in our series on Dangerous Tastes, the author and food historian Andrew Dalby has been regaling Anna McNamee with the history of various spices that were imported to Europe from the Americas or from Indo-Asia.

Coriander is one of the world's oldest spices. It's indigenous to Europe, but managed to colonise the world in it's own right and to such a degree that neither Thai food nor Mexican would be what they are without it.
