The town of Bury has one of the north's biggest and oldest markets. It dates back to the 1440's and it's still thriving when lots of others are in decline.
Bury Market has a quarter of a million visitors a week. Coach trips arrive every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with people travelling from all over the country and abroad. Whether it's the perfect black pudding, a pickled octopus, an out of print book or a rare disc, Bury's the place to find it.
But plans are afoot to move the market, and the women of Bury are not happy. Judy Merry was taken on a tour of the market by life-long fan, Jude Davies.
