Telling Tales - A Modern Day Canterbury Tales Tuesday 2 September 2003
Canterbury Tales
When Chaucer wrote the original Canterbury Tales in the late 14th century he brought together a group of familiar characters who would each tell a story as they embarked upon a pilgrimage.

Julie Walters plays the lusty Wife of Bath in a new 6 part dramatisation of a modernised Canterbury Tales which begins next week. It also features James Nesbitt, Keeley Hawes and Dennis Waterman.
Susan Hitch is a Chaucer scholar and critic and Kate Bartlett, the producer of the series join Jenni to discuss.
This modern re-telling of Chaucer's stories starts Thursday 11 September, 9pm, 成人快手 ONE.
