Pauline Sutcliffe Thursday 24 July 2003
Known as the 'fifth' Beatle, he was a talented artist and enjoyed a close artistic and personal relationship with John Lennon. Tragically, Stuart Sutcliffe died of a brain haemorrhage shortly after he left the band to pursue his education in art, and just before the Beatles phenomenon started to make girls in their thousands scream.

His sister, Pauline has fought a long campaign to get his contribution to the band recognised - she's kept an archive of his letters and artefacts and art-work safe for the last 40 years - but next week they are up for auction.
Pauline Sutcliffe joins Jenni to explain why she felt the time was right to say goodbye to so many of his effects.
