Peggy Angus was an artist, a committed teacher, and a highly inventive flat pattern designer. Her tiles and wallpapers brought colour to post-war homes across the country as well as many important public buildings.
A new exhibition which has just opened at the Museum of the Domestic Design and Architecture in North London examines her life and her designs.
Corinne Julius visits the exhibition with its curator Katie Arber and met Phillipa Threlfall, a specialist in decorative relief ceramics who taught with Peggy Angus.
