Looted Art Tuesday 29 October 2002
When she was a child Dorothea Short's favourite painting hung in the family room. Then in the second world war it was stolen by soldiers. Now she wants it back.

Millions of artworks were looted by the Nazis and many have ended up in museums in Britain.
Anne Webber works for the Commission for Looted Art in Europe, and to Jenny Doule from the Illicit Antiquities Research Centre. They tell Jenni why these artworks have a value which is much more than money and why it's important than they are returned to their original owners.
