For a time it was stylish for the young to wear bovver boots. But as stilettos have come back into fashion, can you now age a woman by the height of her heels.
Judy Merry asked the journalist Ann Leslie, the TV presenter Dani Behr, a shoe designer Emma Hope and a fashion historian Anthea Jarvis. But first she asked a man what high heels do for him.
