Nuala O'Loan Monday 18 March 2002
Nuala O'Loan is the Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland. Some might consider this one of the least enviable jobs on offer.

In August last year, she was charged with looking into police handling of the Omagh bombing in 1998. The attack left 31 dead including two unborn children. Her report found that the RUC had prior knowledge of an attack and it questioned the leadership of Northern Ireland's Chief Constable, Sir Ronnie Flanagan.
She talks to Jenni about breaking through the power structures in Northern Ireland and how she faced up to the personal criticism.
