Does age matter? Monday 21 January 2002
When women get to a certain age - about 40 - it's thought they start to gain in confidence because they realise life's too short to feel inferior.

Lynne Truss has written a series of monologues on the subject. Each is about a woman who has reached, or is about to reach the forty-something years.
Jenni talks to Lynne Truss, actress Siobhan Redmond and Emma Soames from Saga Magazine about whether age really matters.
