Bob Geldof Monday 7 January 2002
Bob Geldof with Jenni Murray
Bob Geldof first came to prominence in the 1970s with The Boomtown Rats. In 1979, their biggest hit, I Don't Like Mondays, topped the charts in 32 countries.

Since his rock star days he has become Band Aid Bob, Business Bob, Paula's Bob, Sir Bob and Saint Bob. He was awarded the KBE for his humanitarian work - but as an Irish National can't use the title. His last album was in 1993 - until the recent Sex, Age and Death. He has admitted that his own life style has been its inspiration.
The album, entitled Sex, Age And Death has 10 songs and took five years to produce.
He joins Jenni to talk about his rollercoaster life. Bob Geldof, Sex Age and Death, Label: Eagle, Catalogue Number: 0000187EAG
