Severe morning sickness Tuesday 14 August 2001
For sixty per cent of women, nausea and vomiting is something they'll experience at some point during their pregnancy, but for most this will have disappeared by around 12 to 16 weeks.

However, for a small percentage, these symptoms are extreme, can last for the whole pregnancy and sometimes lead to hospitalisation.
This condition is better known as hyperemesis gravidarum and for a small proportion of women it's so severe that they opt for termination.
Sheila is joined by Kerry Simpson who set up the HG Awareness Group Blooming Awful and Katrina Erskine, Consultant Obstetrician at The 成人快手rton. Visit the message board.
