Fencing champion still sparring at 76
The sport of fencing is likely to bring to mind a dual between two men, sparring until one achieves a “palpable hit” against the other. Joy Fleetham began fencing at the age of 63 and is now president of the Bridlington Blades fencing club. She joins Jenni to explain why, aged 76, she still has fencing dreams yet to fulfil.
