Gerda Taro, who was killed in Brunete, Spain, during the Spanish Civil War听is generally recognised as the first female war photographer. She was听proclaimed an anti-fascist martyr and听buried in Paris on the day that听 would have been her 27th birthday.听 An exhibition of听Gerda's work is currently on show at The Barbican Centre and its curator听Kate Bush joins Jane, along with听听war photographer Jenny Matthews,听to talk about women鈥檚 influence on war photography.
