With five years to go until London hosts the Olympic Games, women’s participation in British sport is still lagging way behind men's, withÌýonly 3%Ìýtaking part in team games. On the other hand, gym membership inÌýEngland is evenly split. So what's the difference between sport and exercise? And with the government advocating that the majority of its targets for healthy exercise should be met through sport, how can more women be encouraged to shift from one to the other?
